Which school should I send my child to?
Like all good parents my husband and I have asked the same question and to be completely honest, how could we know? Choosing the right school is one of the biggest decisions we would make for our son, we wanted him to grow up and learn in the right nurturing environment that we ourselves missed out on, but how could we be satisfied making a decision?
There are several schools in our area and we were considering moving area as my husband had a job offer, we were in disbelief at the choices available to us, how could we possibly make an informed decision which would affect the rest of our son’s life with all these options?

Fortunately 5 years ago we came across the Good Schools Guide. A fantastic book, written by parents like us who actually have visited every school in it to make their decisions!

My name is Karen and schools have changed a lot since my husband and I were children, as has the education system, but the Good Schools Guide is constantly updated and kept fresh. We were so lucky to have found it.
Before we discovered the book my husband was having to take days off work, holiday, in order to visit potential schools with myself, it was taking all the fun out of our lives and just piling on the worry! Instead of 2 weeks in the south of Spain we were spending our week days visiting headmasters and headmistresses being overloaded with information!
Fortunately the Good Schools Guide is concise and well written, really easy to digest!
